Discover maritime past (€ 395,- p.p.) Sunday 14th till Tuesday 16th of May Experience the sailing of the old days. In this arrangement you board on a traditional Dutch sailing barge. You will be picked up Sunday in the afternoon by bus at a central meeting point in Amsterdam. The bus will take you to Monnickendam where you will embark on barge The Gouwzee or one of her sister ships. You will be welcomed with a cold Buffet, whereafter you can relax in the lounge or visit the historical centre of Monnickendam. Next day after a cosy sleep on board the ship sets sail to one of the famous harbour places on the IJsselmeer coast. For example Hoorn. You’ll have dinner on board, after which it's recommended to have a stroll through the town. You will be back in the Golden Age. Next day the boat sails back to Monnickendam, where you will be picked up by the bus.
